This image is just one of a set of 8 making the rounds via email, purportedly presented to the UNO by a Norwegian diplomat called Charung Gollar. It was a very cool idea.
Here's a link to the real story: Brazillian Artist
What sculpture is to a block of marble,
education is to the soul.

a couple of the links i found take you to crazy pop-up land. a few more didn't contain all the images, so i've posted them HERE
Hey Dave,
I didn't you actually started writing in here. How many websites do you have man??
well, i handcrafted my own blog but it turned into a place to just post my writing and until recently i hadn't done much of that. Also, when I posted in other people's blogs i didn't want to be anonymous, so i created a profile here and then suddenly i was blogging.
Ok, now that I actually took the time to look at that diagram I think its insane! Over here in the western world things are so out of perspective. When I was in Cambodia I used to pay my moto-driver $5 US/day and to him it was a lot of money. He was envied by the rest of the moto-drivers in the area. The average income there is something like $300/year. Here we are in Canada worried about buying this and that to enhance and enrich our lives. Christ, I could go on about this for hours...
Very powerful.
